West Virginia High School Basketball - Spring Mills holds off Jefferson
February 15, 2024: Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) and the host Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), saw Spring Mills's basketball squad hold off Jefferson by a tally of 48-47.
With the victory, Spring Mills improves its record to 19-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV) to confront the Eagles in a Eastern Panhandle challenge on Friday, February 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Hedgesville won 58-12 in their recent non-league challenge against GVCS Broadfording (Hagerstown, MD)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle challenge, on Monday, February 19. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 58-39 league loss to Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV).
