The Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) basketball felled the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), 43-35 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Hawks (14-13) will now prepare for their test against Mesa (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits go into the non-league test with a 16-12 record. In their last test, Mesa was beaten by Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 63-32, in a non-league test.

The Rangers now own a 13-15 record.
