The Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) basketball edged the host Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL), 69-63 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 18-10 record. They play next when they host Oak Forest for a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, February 18. Hillcrest will play a Bengals team coming off a 62-58 non-league loss to Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 14-14.

With the loss, Homewood-Flossmoor falls to 26-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to play the Thunderbolts in a SouthWest Suburban bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a record of 13-16. Andrew won 56-49 in their recent non-league bout against Bremen (Midlothian, IL)
