Spectators at Saturday's non-league bout between the Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE) and the visiting Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE), saw Kearney's basketball team top Millard West by a tally of 71-57.

The Bearcats now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Westview for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. Kearney will play a Wolverines team coming off a 80-69 non-league win over Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Wolverines record now stands at 20-2.

With the loss, Millard West falls to 7-13 on the season. The Wildcats host Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE) to encounter the Titans in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 18.
