In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks basketball team scored a good 79-64 win over the Millard West Wildcats.

The Silver Hawks (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Bellevue West defeated Kearney (Kearney, NE), 78-63, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Millard West will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the contest with a 11-8 record after their 73-66 non-league loss to Norris (Firth, NE).
