New Jersey High School Basketball - New Providence crushes Union
February 16, 2022: New Providence, NJ 07924 New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Union Farmers (Union, NJ), 65-25 in a league bout.
With the win, New Providence upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ) to play the Minutemen in a Union County - Valley bout on Friday, February 18. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Elizabeth won 38-25 in their recent league bout against Cranford (Cranford, NJ)
Next up, the Farmers play the Roselle Park Panthers (Roselle Park, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 19. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
