Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), 68-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Lumberton upgrades its record to 22-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a 3A/4A Conference 22 bout on Friday, February 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 23-2. Seventy-First won 92-47 in their recent league bout against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)
