February 16, 2024: Shelby Township, MI 48316 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI) and the visiting Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI), saw Utica Eisenhower's basketball squad hold off Chippewa Valley by a count of 55-49.
With the victory, Utica Eisenhower upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Old Redford Academy (Detroit, MI) to play the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Old Redford Academy won 61-59 in their recent non-league challenge against University Prep (Detroit, MI)
Next up, the Big Reds play the Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Chippewa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 20-1 record after their 62-41 non-league loss to De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI).
