Ohio High School Basketball - Perry knocked off by Hoover

February 16, 2024: North Canton, OH 44720

The Hoover Vikings basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Perry Panthers to 41 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walsh Jesuit for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Hoover will meet a Warriors team coming off a 53-47 league win over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 11-9.

The Panthers (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Alliance (Alliance, OH). The Aviators enter the non-league contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Alliance was defeated by Canfield (Canfield, OH), 63-50, in a non-league contest.
