West Virginia High School Basketball - Parkersburg Catholic fells Richwood
February 16, 2024: Parkersburg, WV 26104 Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders (Parkersburg, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), 73-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Parkersburg Catholic upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Parkersburg Christian (Parkersburg, WV) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Parkersburg Christian lost 74-38 in their recent league bout against Morgantown Christian Academy (Morgantown, WV)
Next up, the Lumberjacks clash with the Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV) in a Coalfield A bout, on Monday, February 19. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 77-67 non-league win over Hannan (Ashton, WV).
