West Virginia High School Basketball - Gilmer County tops Richwood
February 5, 2024: Glenville, WV 26351 Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), 55-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gilmer County upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Titans host Clay County (Clay, WV) to play the Panthers in a Little Kanawha - East bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Clay County lost 49-35 in their recent league bout against Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV)
Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Highland Rams (Monterey, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 53-43 league win over Craig County (New Castle, VA).
