The Union City Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Quincy Orioles to 37 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homer for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19.

The Orioles (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Morenci (Morenci, MI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, Morenci was routed by Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI), 83-29, in a league contest.
