The Union City Chargers (Union City, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Springport Spartans (Springport, MI), 54-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI). The Lions go into the Big 8 test with a 4-1 record.
