New Hampshire High School Basketball - Merrimack can't hold off Nashua South
February 16, 2024: Nashua, NH 03062 The Nashua South Purple Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks to 45 in the Purple Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Purple Panthers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spaulding for a Division I contest on Tuesday, February 20. Nashua South will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 63-22 league loss to Keene (Keene, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-13.
The Tomahawks (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Windham (Windham, NH). The Jaguars come into the Division I contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Windham edged Concord (Concord, NH), 62-54, in a league contest.
