Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Manchester West Blue Knights (Manchester, NH), 45-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nashua South upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Purple Panthers host Pinkerton (Derry, NH) to clash with the Astros in a Division I bout on Thursday, January 11. The Astros go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Pinkerton won 74-53 in their recent league bout against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, NH)

Next up, the Blue Knights clash with the Timberlane Owls (Plaistow, NH) in a Division II bout, on Friday, January 19. Manchester West will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
