South Dakota High School Basketball - Howard overwhelms Arlington
February 17, 2023: Howard, SD 57349 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) and the visiting Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD), saw Howard's basketball squad wallop Arlington by a tally of 62-19.
With the victory, Howard improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD) to play the Huskies in a B Region 3 challenge on Monday, February 20. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Bridgewater/Emery won 57-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 24. Arlington will attempt to improve on its 2-18 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 56-42 league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD).
