South Dakota High School Basketball - Howard overwhelms Chester
January 26, 2023: Chester, SD 57016 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) and the host Chester Flyers (Chester, SD), saw Howard's basketball squad wallop Chester by a count of 66-40.
With the victory, Howard upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Ethan (Ethan, SD) to play the Rustlers in a B Region 3 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Rustlers come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Ethan won 71-50 in their recent league challenge against Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD)
Next up, the Flyers play the Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD) in a B Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Chester will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 87-35 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, SD).
