The Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI) basketball nipped the host Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI), 37-36 in Friday's non-league test.

The Copper Kings (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI). The Hematites go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record.
