Michigan High School Basketball - Calumet topped by Westwood
February 16, 2023: Calumet, MI 49913 The Westwood Patriots basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Calumet Copper Kings to 35 in the Patriots league victory on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gladstone for a non-league contest on Monday, February 20. Westwood will battle a Braves team coming off a 57-37 league loss to Menominee (Menominee, MI). The Braves record now stands at 6-10.
The Copper Kings (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI). The Modeltowners come into the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Gwinn dropped by Westwood (Ishpeming, MI), 68-32, in a non-league contest.
