West Virginia High School Basketball - John Marshall thwarts Weir
February 17, 2023: Glen Dale, WV 26038 The John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV), 60-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Monarchs (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Bridgeport went down by Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV), 52-37, in a league test.
The Red Riders now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Oak Glen for a Freelance test on Tuesday, February 28.
