Minnesota High School Basketball - Mountain Iron-Buhl crushes Nashwauk-Keewatin
February 17, 2023: Nashwauk, MN 55769 Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers (Mountain Iron, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans (Nashwauk, MN), 88-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mountain Iron-Buhl upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Rangers host Cromwell (Cromwell, MN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 10-11. Cromwell lost 53-50 in their recent league bout against Carlton (Carlton, MN)
Next up, the Spartans play the South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) in a A Section 7 bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Nashwauk-Keewatin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 77-63 non-league loss to Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN).
