February 17, 2023: Byfield, MA 01922

Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Triton Regional Vikings (Byfield, MA), 51-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Saugus upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Sachems host Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA) to play the Redmen in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Redmen go into the bout with a record of 9-10.

Next up, the Vikings play the Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 20. Triton Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Middies go into the bout with a 0-19 record after their 63-44 league loss to Haverhill (Haverhill, MA).
