In Monday's non-league match, the host Raleigh Lions softball team scored a tight 9-4 win over the Morton Panthers.

The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Enterprise was routed by Newton County (Decatur, MS), 12-9, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 18. Morton will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
