Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY), 68-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oneida Baptist Institute upgrades its record to 15-13 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Red Bird (Beverly, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, February 21. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 0-23. Red Bird lost 48-37 in their recent non-league bout against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY)
