February 18, 2023: Litchfield, CT 06759 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wamogo Regional Warriors (Litchfield, CT) and the visiting Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT), saw Wamogo Regional's basketball squad hold off Classical Magnet by a count of 50-45.
With the victory, Wamogo Regional upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Somers (Somers, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Somers lost 46-40 in their recent league test against Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT)
The Gladiators now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Branford for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 22. Classical Magnet will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Amistad (New Haven, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 5-14.
