Connecticut High School Basketball - Wamogo Regional holds off Shepaug Valley
February 7, 2023: Litchfield, CT 06759 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wamogo Regional Warriors (Litchfield, CT) and the visiting Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT), saw Wamogo Regional's basketball squad hold off Shepaug Valley by a tally of 60-58.
With the victory, Wamogo Regional improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Litchfield (Litchfield, CT) to confront the Cowboys in a Berkshire challenge on Friday, February 10. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Litchfield lost 60-56 in their recent league challenge against Gilbert (Winsted, CT)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Friday, February 10. Shepaug Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 70-56 league win over Thomaston (Thomaston, CT).
