Connecticut High School Basketball - Litchfield knocked off by Shepaug Valley
January 3, 2023: Washington, CT 06793 The Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Litchfield Cowboys to 45 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nonnewaug for a Berkshire contest on Friday, January 6. Shepaug Valley will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 68-56 league win over Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-2.
The Cowboys (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wamogo (Litchfield, CT). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Wamogo ran past Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT), 63-47, in a non-league contest.
