University Trailblazers (Carmel, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), 67-66 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, University upgrades its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 14-8. Guerin Catholic won 62-52 in their recent league bout against Roncalli (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Hawks play the Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Decatur Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 70-65 league win over Triton Central (Fairland, IN).
