The Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), 54-39 in Saturday's league test.

The Big Blacks (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Bison go into the Freelance test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Buffalo notched a victory over Wayne (Wayne, WV), 76-53, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Winfield for a Cardinal test on Monday, February 20. Lincoln County will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 46-39 league win over Poca (Poca, WV). The Generals record now stands at 12-8.
