In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Veritas School Lions basketball team scored a decisive 50-14 triumph over the Summit Christian Academy Eagles.
In their next game, the Lions meet the St. Margaret's Scotties (Tappahannock, VA) in a VISAA Division III match, on Tuesday, February 21. Veritas School will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Scotties enter the match with a 12-9 record after their 47-7 non-league win over Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA).
With the defeat, Summit Christian Academy moves to 0-10 on the year.
