The Independence Blue Devils basketball squad (Independence, OH), was nudged 74-73 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH)

With the victory, Trinity advances its record to 9-11 on the year. The Trojans host Fuchs Mizrachi (University Heights, OH) to meet the Mayhem in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 20. The Mayhem enter the battle with a record of 11-3.

The Blue Devils now own a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host David Anderson for a non-league battle on Friday, February 21. Independence will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 66-15 non-league win over Academy for Urban Scholars (Youngstown, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-9.
