February 18, 2025: Pelham, AL 35124 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Calera Eagles (Calera, AL) and the host Indian Springs Student (Pelham, AL), saw Calera's soccer squad knock off Indian Springs by a count of 3-1.
The Eagles now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Decatur for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 21. Calera will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Austin (Decatur, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Indian Springs moves to 1-2 on the year. The Student travel to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to encounter the Bears in a 5A Area 8 challenge on Thursday, February 20. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Sipsey Valley lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Shelby County (Columbiana, AL)
