February 18, 2025: Cranston, RI 02920 Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) backers exited the stadium happy Tuesday as they observed their ice hockey squad edge the host Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI), 3-2 in a non-league game.
With the win, Smithfield moves its record to 10-11 on the year. The Sentinels travel to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI) to clash with the Rams in a Division 1 game on Wednesday, February 19. The Rams enter the game with a record of 9-7. La Salle Academy lost 2-1 in their recent league game against Barrington (Barrington, RI)
The Falcons now have a 4-5 record.
