The South Vermillion Wildcats basketball team (Clinton, IN), was toppled 68-55 in Saturday's league battle with the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN)

The Trojans now possess a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crawfordsville for a non-league battle on Friday, February 25. Covington will confront a Athenians team coming off a 68-56 league win over Danville (Danville, IN). The Athenians record now stands at 16-5.

The Wildcats (11-11) will now prepare for their battle against Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN). The Panthers come into the Wabash River battle with a 6-15 record. In their last battle, Riverton Parke was toppled by South Putnam (Greencastle, IN), 84-77, in a non-league battle.
