The Covington Trojans basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs to 30 in the Trojans league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Vermillion for a Wabash River contest on Saturday, February 19. Covington will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-28 league win over North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-10.

The Mustangs (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Attica (Attica, IN). The Red Ramblers enter the Wabash River contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Attica was defeated by Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN), 63-44, in a non-league contest.
