The Arlington Colts overwhelmed the host Granbury Pirates softball squad by a count of 12-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Colts meet the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 20. Arlington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Aubrey (Aubrey, TX).

The Pirates (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Brock (Brock, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Brock got by Weatherford (Weatherford, TX), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
