Kentucky High School Basketball - Pike County Central fells Lawrence County
February 20, 2024: Pikeville, KY 41501 Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), 83-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pike County Central upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Hawks travel to East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-16. East Ridge lost 78-72 in their recent non-league bout against Phelps (Phelps, KY)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 21-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 16-13 record after their 104-67 non-league win over Fairview (Ashland, KY).
