Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Centre overwhelms Osakis
February 20, 2024: Osakis, MN 56360 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) and the host Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN), saw Sauk Centre's basketball squad wallop Osakis by a tally of 60-34.
With the victory, Sauk Centre improves its record to 21-4 on the campaign. The Mainstreeters travel to Melrose (Melrose, MN) to confront the Dutchmen in a AA Section 6 challenge on Friday, February 23. The Dutchmen come into the challenge with a record of 7-19. Melrose lost 80-42 in their recent league challenge against Holdingford (Holdingford, MN)
Next up, the Silverstreaks confront the Pillager Huskies (Pillager, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Osakis will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-19 record after their 72-51 non-league win over Swanville (Swanville, MN).
