February 20, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70508 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), saw St. Thomas More's baseball team beat Captain Shreve by a margin of 3-0.
The Cougars (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Eunice held off D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Gators face the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 21. Captain Shreve will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 6-3 non-league win over West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA).
