In Friday's non-league game, the host Vanguard Knights baseball squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Forest Wildcats.

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Santa Fe (Alachua, FL). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Santa Fe was overwhelmed by Union County (Lake Butler, FL), 14-10, in a non-league match.

The Wildcats now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Weir for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 24.
