In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Forest Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Lake Weir Hurricanes.

The Wildcats (8-14) will now prepare for their game against Buchholz (Gainesville, FL). The Bobcats go into the 6A District 2 game with a 14-7 record. In their last game, Buchholz knocked off Suwannee (Live Oak, FL), 4-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Hurricanes play the Dunnellon Tigers (Dunnellon, FL) in a 4A District 5 game, on Tuesday, April 7. Lake Weir will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 4-18 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Vanguard (Ocala, FL).
