Illinois High School Basketball - Metro-East Lutheran holds off Althoff Catholic

The Metro-East Lutheran Knights basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Althoff Catholic Crusaders to 58 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 17-11 record. They play next when they travel to Nashville for a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. Metro-East Lutheran will confront a Hornets team coming off a 71-48 league win over DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 20-9.

With the loss, Althoff Catholic falls to 25-5 on the campaign.
