Kentucky High School Basketball - East Carter nips Nicholas County
February 21, 2025: Carlisle, KY 40311 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting East Carter Raiders basketball team scored a close 63-57 win over the Nicholas County Bluejackets.
The Raiders (20-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 8-20 record. In their last contest, Bath County edged Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bluejackets battle the Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY) in a District 38 test, on Monday, February 24. Nicholas County will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Black Devils come into the test with a 5-16 record after their 0-0 non-league Dayton (Dayton, KY).
