The Salem Quakers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Howland Tigers to 22 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Quakers now sport a 22-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 25. Salem will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 44-28 non-league win over West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 23-1.
