Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL), 7-6 in a non-league battle.

The Coyotes now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wesley Chapel for a 1A D9 battle on Friday, February 24. Cypress Creek will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-9 non-league win over Freedom (Tampa, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

In their next game, the Seahawks clash with the Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL) in a 2A D10 battle, on Friday, February 24. Sunlake will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 17-5 league loss to Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL).
