Texas High School Softball - Rains bounces Pleasant Grove
February 22, 2024: Texarkana, TX 75503 Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX), 14-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mineola for a non-league match on Friday, February 23. Rains will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Pleasant Grove moves to 0-7 on the season. The Hawks travel to Hooks (Hooks, TX) to meet the Hornets in a non-league match on Thursday, February 22. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 4-1. Hooks won 17-0 in their recent non-league match against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX)
