The La Quinta Blackhawks triumphed over the visiting Hillcrest Trojans softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Blackhawks meet the Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 28. La Quinta will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.

The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA). The Blackhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Citrus Valley overcame JW North (Riverside, CA), 11-8, in a non-league challenge.
