The North Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Owen Valley Patriots to 59 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lighthouse Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 2. North Central will battle a Lions team coming off a 49-38 non-league win over Brown County (Nashville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 15-8.

The Patriots (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers come into the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Shakamak prevailed over West Vigo (West Terre Haute, IN), 61-43, in a non-league contest.
