February 23, 2023: Fairburn, GA 30213 The Tri-Cities Bulldogs soccer team scored 10 points and limited the host Langston Hughes Panthers to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a 5A Area 5 contest, on Friday, March 3. Tri-Cities will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA).
The Panthers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Alexander for a 6A Area 5 contest on Tuesday, February 28. Langston Hughes will face a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
