Minnesota High School Basketball - Champlin Park holds off Coon Rapids
February 23, 2024: Champlin, MN 55316 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) and the visiting Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN), saw Champlin Park's basketball squad hold off Coon Rapids by a tally of 83-77.
With the victory, Champlin Park improves its record to 14-11 on the campaign. The Rebels host St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 28. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-14. St. Michael-Albertville lost 68-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 29. Coon Rapids will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record. The Sabres come into the challenge with a 4-20 record after their 83-47 non-league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, MN).
